This past weekend was so busy and by Sunday night I was just over it. I had made plans with my sister to hang out, but had it in my mind that I was going to cancel. Instead I woke up, hopped on my @onepeloton bike, and took a bomb class with @kendalltoole

And I decided all right… We are getting out of the house today!

I had no idea how much I needed that workout and to get out of the house. I pretty much stay in the house 99.9% of the time. It’s time for this mama to get out more, because I had the best time.

Had the best time getting zapped with the hubster

Had the best time getting zapped with the hubster at @ninaberenatobraceletbar in Dallas. I ended up choosing the chain of the month, Bella, because hello … July is my birthday month. Babe and I got matching bracelets, the goddess, with a lock & key charm⚡️

The process was quick and easy and quick stop before our brunch date. This was such a fun + special thing for me to do with hubby and this was my first outing post baby!

Forget about what you did yesterday, what you do today is all that matters. It is so freaking easy to harp on things that may not be working out how you want them to, but try and focus that energy on
making positive changes, celebrating the little wins.

We quickly noticed that Papa was starting to act out after his baby sister was born. READ CAPTION …

I was hoping to get a totally different reaction once Ashraf met his baby sister for the first time. He literally did a wave and was immediately over it. The first night we brought her home, he was standoffish and didn’t want to hold her. All he wanted to do was run upstairs and be alone.

The next few days, we noticed that he isolated himself instead of being up under us and began acting out. I did some research and learned this is normal, so I decided that we should take him out one on one.

This was not even a week after Asiyah was born, but anything for my first love. It didn’t do the trick automatically, but he eventually warmed up to the idea of having another little in the house, and the acting out has stopped for now.

Thankfully now he is always asking to hold her and reminds us to take walks together. OMG and the cutest thing, anytime she cries he brings her this little cute pink teddy bear … melts my heart every time.

Are you a parent? Have you ever experienced this? Was it love at first sight or did your big act out a little too? Please tell me I’m not alone lol!!

Working out, especially any type of oly movement will forever be my jam. It’s my happy place. Every single time I have done a workout during pregnancy usually within 10-15 minutes my endorphins are on 1000 and I’m reminded why working out brings me so much joy!

We’ve been working on hitting the ball without the T stand and it’s definitely paying off!

I got so excited on his second hit that I stopped recording to cheer, but it was definitely his best yet.

And he got a game ball, great job Ash🎉🎉🎉🎉
