You don’t always need a plan. Sometimes you just need to breathe, trust, let go, and see what happens.

Balancing work, adjusting to my new normal, trying to get my nutrition in check, and staying on top of things … Let's just say my life has been lifeing lol. I’m a little over 6 months postpartum now and working hard not to give in to postpartum depression. This year, things were thrown my way, and I realized some things you just have to give to God, including the worries, and let Him handle them. As I surrendered control, a huge load was lifted off my shoulders.

While the majority of my recent posts have focused on the kiddos (because, let's be real, they’re the stars of the show), it’s time to add more sprinkles of Simmy J into the mix.

Reminding myself it's okay not to have it all together, I'm embracing the freedom that comes with letting life unfold.I truly believe the pieces will all fit together perfectly again, taking their new shape🤎

A Tuesday photo dump: A Peek into My Adventures 📸

Life’s been a whirlwind, but I finally got some “me” time in.

I treated myself to some self-care after a long hiatus. From a fresh lash set by @lash_mmebeauty , nails by @jojo.artroom , and an overdue hair session with @hairbymilan (7 months actually). The feeling … indescribable.

Yet, the most heartwarming moments are with my little ones – from cheering on Papa at baseball to Sisi’s cozy giggles that light up my world. They are my everything 🥰.

I took not one but two bold leaps out of my comfort zone, showing up for influencer events. First, there was @gabbwireless , dedicated to kid-friendly screen time and safety. I had the chance to experience a mesmerizing sound bath led by @mostinterestingellen at @movementloft . Highly recommend!

My bestie @alyshamishele and I enjoyed a Friendsgiving event with @cookintexas , celebrating the magic of food, bringing people together, and making new friends. I even met someone that lives on the same exact street as me…CRAZY!!! 🤯 And trust me, the food was absolutely incredible. @prettybrownvegan @theboujiecajun @themigonikitchen

In the midst of it all, I caught up with my cousin @baddolista and her son.

Balancing life as a mom with two littles has been challenging challenges, but at the same time rewarding. Loving my new normal.

Happy Monday y’all💖

This week I am working on dialing in on my nutrition and really honing in on my routine at home. Being a mom of 1 vs 2, is a different ball game. I'm still adjusting to my new normal, which is hard having two kids, but I'm giving myself grace.

I try to anyway. There really isn't any other hood like motherhood. Here's to a week of meeting goals and keeping my head above water.

This past weekend was so busy and by Sunday night I was just over it. I had made plans with my sister to hang out, but had it in my mind that I was going to cancel. Instead I woke up, hopped on my @onepeloton bike, and took a bomb class with @kendalltoole

And I decided all right… We are getting out of the house today!

I had no idea how much I needed that workout and to get out of the house. I pretty much stay in the house 99.9% of the time. It’s time for this mama to get out more, because I had the best time.
