Haha, I was thinking of a deep caption to write, but I have nothing for y’all … so I’m going to go on a tiny ramble.

I think the first photo basically sums up how life has been this past week. I’m just trying to smile through it. There’s just so much going on because of this pregnancy and the majority of the time I don’t understand it.

I’m lonely af, I’m so used to being busy and on the go … I really don’t remember my last pregnancy being like this. I’m pretty sure I was out and about, but this time is different … I have more responsibilities and a 4-year-old at that.

I know I’m growing a baby and I shouldn’t be too hard on myself but this is weird lol. Workouts are close to none (sad day). Energy levels are non-existent. I barely get anything done most days. Growing a tiny human is a lot more than people can imagine if you haven’t experienced it for yourself. Working on giving myself grace and taking it day by day.

This week I’m going to focus on self-care. Okay, that’s it …. that’s the cap.

P.S. I’ve never experienced a Wednesday that felt like a Monday

Can y’all believe its the last week of 2022!?

I’ve been reflecting on this past year since the beginning of December … I am so grateful for all the blessings this past year and even the trials that God has faced me with.

I hosted a vision board with my girls earlier this month and wasn’t too excited about it because I didn’t feel “accomplished,” but then I realized I was focused on all the negative.

As I did my 2022 year in review blog post and wrote out my vision for 2023, I realized I need to focus more on the positive things. LINK IN BIO!!

This next year, I plan to really be intentional about stepping into my purpose and accomplishing the things that I laid out on my vision board. This year is definitely going to bring new challenges since baby girl is on the way, so I’m making sure to set realistic goals. Because the “free” time I have will soon be gone.

Anywho, I am so excited for this new year! Whats your vision for the year 2023?

Date night with the hubs. Shout out to him for getting me out of the house, because I almost told him to go without me, because I wasn't feeling well. Thankfully I went and had the best time.

There's a lot I feel that's not really spoken about during pregnancy. One thing that isn't discussed as much is the feeling of being isolated or lonely. And it kind of just takes a toll on your mental.

It can be so easy to fall into the habit of not getting out of the house, especially when you are not feeling the best. That being said, I'm trying to make it a point to do things, and do them more often. I stay in my house, more than I would like to admit. Even though it has taken a slight toll on my mental. I enjoy being in the house ... it just drives me crazy. Does that make sense?

Anyways, here’s to getting out of the house more and doing more things🤞🏾✨

The 5th annual vision board part was a success. I can’t believe we have been doing this for 5 years now. As a whole, we all agreed to be more intentional with the things we put on our board. I know I’m ready to step into my purpose and knock some things off my list.Let’s get it🤞🏾🙏🏾✨

He is really coming into his own person. Expressing his feelings and being sure to let you know his opinion.

He's a social butterfly like his mom and dad, but thankfully he's more of an extrovert like his dad. I'm the introvert in the family. He does whine for just about everything if things don't go his way. And I'm pretty sure that'll go away once his baby sister comes.

I'm just excited to see this little boy continue to grow. Time, please slow down. Just a tad bit.♥️✨

Today was hard. There’s just so much going on and I feel as though I don’t have a handle on things, but I know I’m moving in the right direction. It’s just hard sometimes and then my hormones are literally everywhere.🙄😂

Everyday won’t go as planned, all that matters is that you push through, and remind yourself that you will get through this.

Very determined to stay active and LIFT during this pregnancy! I can’t voice it enough, but I’m not going to lie and say it’s easy!

I do oly strength once a week followed by core and a flexibility flow. I’ve learned that my workouts should be at the end of the day, because if not I’m stuck in the bed for the rest of the day.

For anyone out there on their fitness journey, words of advice… keep going!!!

One thing I am going to do is do my hair, makeup, and get all dolled up this pregnancy! First pregnancy, my body felt foreign and I didn’t recognize myself. I caught myself going back to look for bump pictures and I barely had them, so this time around I’m bumping it out, and getting cute when I find the energy!
