First things first, if you have no idea what the Whole30 is, no worries! I got you covered! Check out Hello WHOLE30, where I give you a quick break down of what you need to know.
Remember two months ago when I said Goodbye Whole30, Well I’m back at it again. I decided to do it again because quite honestly, since the beginning of December, I would work out like four to five times a week, but I was eating horribly. I mean like really bad, and my body just felt off in general.
I needed a restart, so why not dial in on my nutrition? I am also partaking in the gymshark66 challenge and one of my goals was to eat clean.
I am doing Whole30 for the fourth time and this one is a little bit different for me. I’m doing the Whole30 on my terms. And when I say my terms, if I accidentally have something that is not Whole30 compliant, I am NOT starting over. If I succumb to a craving, I AM NOT I repeat, NOT starting over! This is a personal decision, because I know that I can be disciplined when I want to be and feel pretty confident that I’ll see some major changes this fourth round.
I have gotten better and gained more knowledge with every round I’ve done of the Whole30 completed or not. And another reason why I decided to give it ago again is because I was featured in an article in Women’s Health Magazine regarding my success with doing the Whole30. You can check it out here, Simmy Hassan has lost 70 pounds—and she’s still going, and then you can also head here to see my current measurements +weight + pictures of where I’m at now.
Have you done the Whole30? How was your experience? Have you always thought about doing the Whole30, but can’t make up your mind? Feel free to reach out to me with any questions at barbellebeautyy@gmail.com
