Good day!
My sweet Asiyah is 7 months, marking chapter in a journey that’s been nothing short of remarkable! As we navigate this beautiful, albeit trying year I realize it’s been too long since I shared an update on our little bundle of joy.
The last time we caught up on Asiyah’s milestones, she had just turned 3 months in August. August, however, had it’s own plans – a new job unfolded, and life got a bit crazy, propelling me into a whirlwind of responsibilities and leaving me with little time for me.
In the midst of everything going on, months 4 through 6 slipped away like a quiet breeze. Oh, how I wish I could turn back the clock, reliving and capturing those fleeting moments. Asiyah, during those months, had a burst of milestones, captivating everyone with her infectious smiles and leaving indelible imprints of her unique personality on our hearts.
But as we all know, life happens, and time waits for no one. So, here we are, ready to dive into the present, into the heart of Asiyah’s 7-month world. Now, let’s pause for a moment to soak in some of our favorite moments from months 4-6.

Now that our hearts are officially warmed, let’s dive into Asiyah’s 7-month update. Get ready for more smiles, milestones, and whole lot of baby cuteness.
Asiyah’s becoming little chunkster, like me when I was a baby, and I can’t wait to measure her growth at her next check-up. Out of nowhere, she’s got these chubby cheeks that are just too irresistible. While there’s no crawling action yet, she’s mastered the art of rolling to get closer to her toys. And get this, she can sit up all on her own – those tiny abs are no joke!
She is the friendliest baby in town. But, when she’s tired or hungry, cue the cries for Mama – and I must admit I love every second of it. There’s nothing like her immediate switch to mama mode when she spots me after a little absence.
As for sounds, she has mastered the art of getting loud – screaming- and babbling, every now and then she throws a mama in. She may not know it’s for me yet, but I’m claiming it. When she wants something or is excited, the arms waves, big smiles, and adorable bounces come out and play.
She is a foodie in the making, we’ve dipped our toes into adding cereal to her milk and she loves it. Sleep? Oh, it’s a breeze. I’m working on her self-soothing skills, and she’s doing great with just about 10 minutes of sleepy time cries.
Her favorite toys? Anything she can put in her mouth, no doubt! And her go-to activity is being in mommy’s arms, bouncing up and down. Oh, and let’s not forget her besties, Dave and Ava on YouTube, her big smile says it all.
The standout moments? Every single smile of hers, especially when she sees me in the morning. My heart melts, and it’s a moment I’ll cherish forever.

The entire family is head over heels for her, especially the older cousins who want their turns for a snuggle. Watching her observe her brother and cousin Zidane play is a priceless moment.
I can’t wait for her to start crawling and getting into solid foods for real. The anticipation for her first words and calling me mama is building up. And of course, we’ve go her first Ramadan + Eid, and the grand celebration of her first birthday on the horizon.
Man the next couple of months, I just want to be mindful. I want to slow down and soak every moment in with Asiyah, her brother, and my amazing husband. Life is short, and I’m ready to create more core memories, more laughter, and more love.
So, there you have it – Asiyah’s 7-month update, filled with chubby cheeks, baby giggles, and a whole lot of love. Stay tuned for the next chapter of this adorable journey.
