In this new season of my life, I’ve discovered that one of the hardest things for me right now is figuring out how to have it all.
I want to be the perfect wife, mom, daughter, sister, and friend. I want to excel in my career. I also want to be twenty pounds lighter, lol. I want to start my own side hustle and train people more frequently. I want to be more consistent when it comes to my blog and Instagram.
As I started my new career a couple months ago, in my head life was going to be a piece of cake for me. Wrong. It’s even more hectic.
The first mistake I made was thinking that since I work from home and my mom watches Ash for me that I would have more than enough time to do my job and create content for my social media platforms. I was quickly learned that it wasn’t going to be so easy.
There are so my tabs open in my head that my brain feels pulled in so many directions right now. I’m worrying about if I’m spending enough time with Papa. If I am being the best wife to my husband. Am I going above in beyond in my new job? Am I present enough on social media? My thoughts are literally everywhere, that I’m mentally exhausted and tell myself there’s probably too much on my plate.
I end up resting and telling myself that I’ll do get to it later. I keep putting things off. Which in no way is helping me have it all! So, I think it is time for me to realign myself and focus on finding ways to be more productive, because I can have it all.
Successfully working a full-time job, being a wife and mom…I am determined to be a successful blogger as well.
And that’s on PERIODT. (Hope that made you smile lol)
My blog and content I post on social media are very important to me. It is my creative outlet and I’ve been able to make connections with people that I probably wouldn’t have if I didn’t start this blog.
That’s why now than ever, it is time to make prioritize my blog so that the content I actually plan out will get done. This blog can be so much more if I put more effort into it.
I am so determined to have it all, so now it is time for me to be more productive. So, what’s my plan?
Well, first things first … get my mornings back to myself. I have been slacking on waking up earlier than my crew to enjoy a few moments alone. Which has made me come to the realization that missing those early mornings by my lonesome is actually hindering my productivity and making me feel rushed when I start my day.
As of today, I will be planning out my content and also determine a way to put action into my plan. I don’t see how a day in action will not allow you to actually be productive. There’s just no way.
And last thing is, I am going to get rid of the excuses. I have found myself saying that I am too tired from working or just life in general. Sis get rid of that tired excuse and get your butt in gear, because we can have it all … only if we put the work in though.
I encourage you to give yourself the opportunity to have it all. Get rid of the excuses and find room in your schedule to put action into your plan. I truly believe we all deserve to have everything we want in this life.
